Cut as a 'just for kicks' effort during my infamous '97 session, it just rolls along with some lunatic (WHAT?) handling the guitar in a way that should call for criminal offense and noise pollution of the highest degree!! Oh well, I had my fun while it lasted, so... Trivia... Booker T. & the MG's is an instrumental R&B band that was influential in shaping the sound of southern soul and Memphis soul. The band was formed as the house band of Stax Records, providing backing music for a variety of singers such as Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Bill Withers, Sam & Dave, Carla and Rufus Thomas and J! ohnnie Taylor. In summer 1962, seventeen-year-old keyboardist Booker T.
