Cocteau Twins - Bluebeard
Please & Check out our "NEW" website for more music videos at www.bvmtv.com! We uploading many videos we can until we drop! Cocteau Twins were a Scottish alternative rock band active from 1979 to 1997, known for complex instrumentation and atmospheric, non-lyrical vocals. The original members were Elizabeth Fraser (vocals), Robin Guthrie (guitar, drum machine) and Will Heggie (bass guitar), who was replaced by Simon Raymonde (also bass guitar) early in the band's career. Though formed in the post-punk and New Wave era, the Cocteau Twins tended to defy concise categorisation, and their music was a key influence on dream pop. Whilst the entire band earned much critical praise, Elizabeth Fraser's distinctive vocals received the most attention. At times barely decipherable, Fraser seemed to veer into glossolalia and mouth music. Allmusic reviewer Ned Raggett writes that "part of her appeal is how she can make hard-to-interpret lyrics so emotionally gripping. Bluebeard is a si! ngle by the Cocteau Twins. It was released by Fontana Records in February 1994. It was the second single to be released from the Four-Calendar Café album. The CD single has four tracks, including an acoustic version of the main track which didn't appear on the 12". The CD was also released in the US on Capitol, the band's American label. All tracks were written by the Cocteau Twins. 12" Fontana / CTX 2 (UK) 1. "Bluebeard" - 3:56 2. "Three Swept" - 3:37 3. "Ice-Pulse - 3:47 CD: Fontana / CTCD 2 (UK) 1 ...

Feb 20 2011 Jewish Moralizer No 10
Pastor Curt Crist, www.welcometograce.com Do you think those with a Jewish heritage who were readily willing to accept Paul's indictment of the Gentiles as being wrath-worthy were now equally as ready to admit their own wrath-worthiness, to accept that indictment against themselves? Not a chance! Paul is turning his attention to these folks now and he's going to train his focus on the self-defense plea he anticipates to be in the minds of those of the Jewish quarter. First came that plea of ignorance, "We Gentiles just didn't know there was a God. We didn't know about God. We cannot be blamed. Why didn't God tell us about himself?" Paul quickly dispensed with that notion. They knew all about God according to Paul. God had shown them all about Himself and told them about Himself. It would be easier for them to dispense with the God they knew about than to have to be accountable to that God. Second the plea of ignorance came the self-defense motion of relative righteousness; t! he plea that went along these lines: "My thoughts and my actions aren't really as bad as some other folks that I know. There are people doing worse things than me and besides, I do some pretty good things from time to time. Surely my righteousnesses are worthy of God's consideration." That's the defense plea of anti-wrath-worthy defense plea of relative righteousness. When it comes to our failures at rightness, our pride nature won't let us see what's in the room. Our innermost motivations are hid to ...
